Our charming hotel

Located in the heart of the charming village of Bois Plage en Ré, the Hôtel OCEAN is an invitation to relax and escape on the Ile de Ré. With its warm atmosphere and charming setting, this 3-star hotel offers a unique experience, combining elegance and authenticity.

Hôtel l’OCEAN has 29 rooms, all decorated with care, a restaurant with a chic bistro feel, a lounge bar to start the evening, a shady garden with olive trees, a heated swimming pool and a wellness area.

Our 29 rooms are all decorated with care and uniqueness, combining comfort and character for a serene stay.

The rooms are located either on the 1st floor, on the ground floor or by the pool. Each space is unique and synonymous with relaxation.

Our Restaurant

The restaurant offers gourmet cuisine in a chic bistro style, with daily specials and the Chef’s suggestions to suit all tastes.

The atmosphere changes throughout the day… At lunchtime it’s a haven of peace, calm and protected from the hustle and bustle of the nearby market. In the evening, the atmosphere changes, the restaurant comes alive and the atmosphere becomes more festive and friendly.

Whether you choose to dine indoors in the cosy dining room or outside on the patio, every moment promises to be a joyful, gourmet experience.

Pool and garden

From morning to night, you can relax on one of the garden armchairs in the shade of the olive trees, to read, enjoy a coffee or share an aperitif in the evening in a peaceful atmosphere.
Surrounded by deckchairs for a moment of relaxation in the sun, the pool is heated from April to the end of October, so you can enjoy a pleasant swim all year round.
